 Finally, the schedule and details for Parser fund raiser is ready. Thanks to those who answered the earlier survey. Registration is now open (click registration link way below after reading the details). This activity is co-organized with LetsGoSago.net and itsComplicated.i.ph

We are also opening the activity to your friends! Parser staff and alumni could bring along their friends and relatives as long as they are physically fit for the activity. For logistics purposes, they are labelled as ‘guests.’  They are also required to Register. The fee for the guests are also lower (since they are not obliged to support Parser, konti lng). =)

Registration is open from today until November 15. Bank Payment deadline is until November 17. So what are you waiitng for? Let’s Go Sago!

ParSurf in La Union 

When:  Nov 22-23, 2008

Where: Billabong Surf School & San Juan Surf Resort, San Juan, La Union Province

Itinerary:
Day 1, Saturday Nov 22
04:30am Meet-up at Mcdonald’s EDSA-Quezon Ave - 24hrs Open (below Quezon Ave. MRT Station)
11:00am Early Lunch at Halo-Halo de Iloko (La Union)
12:00nn ETA Resort & Check-in
02:00pm Batch 1 1-hr One Instructor-to-One Student Surfing Lesson
03:15pm Batch 2 
04:30pm onwards - Free Time / Skim Boarding / Beach Bumming / Swimming / Frisbee 
07:00pm Dinner (either at resort or nearby food establishment)
08:00pm onwards - Parser Staff Planning Sem Meet or whatever =) 
                 Bottle sessions for the guests (?)
Day 2, Sunday Nov 23
08:00am Wake Up & Breakfast
09:00am Extra Surf (additional pay) / Free Time / Skim Boarding / Beach Bumming / Swimming / Frisbee
11:00am Check-out            
11:30am Lunch at Midway’s Grill (La Union)
04:30pm optional stop-over Isdaan Restaurant/Dinner
08:30pm ETA Manila [Mcdonald’s EDSA-Quezon Ave - 24hrs Open] (below Quezon Ave. MRT Station)


Package Rate*:
Parser Alumni: Php3,000    (Php1000 will go to Parser funds)
Parser Staffer:  Php2,000   (estimated actual cost of activity)
Guest:  Php2,500              (Php 400 goes to Parser, Php100 for administrative expenses)
*Cost Breakdown and Earnings (of the fund raiser) to be released on the 2nd day.
*Package Rate may slightly fluctuate, but less likely, depending on resort rate adjustments.

Payment : (Bank Payment Deadline: November 17)
After Registration, a screen message will inform you or I will email you the bank account details where you could deposit your payment.
After you have deposited, please email me again with the time and branch where you have deposited to maintain my sanity since a number of you might be paying on the same day
Please keep your deposit slip as this is your proof of payment. Bring it on Nov 22 for reference.

Package Inclusions

• Aircon Van Transpo Transfers : Manila to LU; LU to Manila
• Overnight aircon accommodation at San Juan Surf Resort (accomodations at about 4pax per room; special rate if you want couple’s room)
• 1 hour surf lessons (including one-to-one instructor’s fee and surf board rental)

Not included

• your meals/lunch/ dinner (unless there would be sponsors *wink)
• extra surf lessons with surfboard rental and instructor

About the Surfing:
* 1 hour surf lesson (including instructor fee and surf board rental)
* extra surf lessons with surfboard rental and instructor shall have corresponding additional cost
* the surf lessons are really for beginners, don’t worry if it’s your first time
* The student is always accompanied by a personal instructor.
* Don’t be afraid of drowning, you’ll be surfing waves at about less than 5 ft of water. Even if you fall on the water, you just have to stand up. =)
